One of my favorite family holiday traditions, is our annual beach trip with my dads side of the family. My grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, and cousins all go to Destin together each year. We go sometime between Thanksgiving and New years. There are always many people there, because my dad has 5 brother and sisters, each one of of his siblings has at least three kids. We usually have to rent a long rows of houses on the beach that are connected.
Whether were watching black Friday commercials, or Christmas movies, everyone is always having a good time when we are at the beach together. My cousins and I always try to see who can stay in the freezing cold ocean water the longest, and sometimes, we'll bundle up in sweatpants and sweaters and sit on the beach for hours. Each day, someone will cook breakfast, lunch and dinner for everyone and we will all eat together. One night, we will go to Baytown to eat and zip line. I enjoy this beach trip because it creates family memories that we never forget, and I'm thankful l for it.
