An Abundance of Katherine's by John Green

This story is told by a boy named Colin who has only dated girls named Katherine. When his nineteenth girlfriend, Katherine, breaks up with him, his friend, Hassan, decides that they should take  a road trip over the summer. They take a pitstop in Kentucky to see a famous gravestone, while there they meet Lindsey Wells. Lindsey offers for them to stay at her house, and work for their factory to make some money.
Throughout this book, Colin discovered many things about what he has been doing wrong and realized he was crazy for only dating girls named Katherine. I liked how in the first part of the book ,Colin is obsessed with creating a relationship formula and making sure every relationship goes perfect for him. He tries to make his relationships into an equation. At the end he realizes that love isn't something that can be calculated or planned out, it just is what it is. I liked how the author found a way to make this topic serious and funny at the same time.
